Bio

A trainer with Excalibur Press’ educational platform Excalibur Learning Rachel’s experience covers a wide arena of business functions including learning and development, human resources, organisational development and change, organisational compliance, traditional and digital marketing, and ISO implementation and development. She is responsible for implementing a range of initiatives and programmes that have won local and national awards, and works mostly with small to medium sized organisations across the province in a diverse range of industries.

Rachel graduated from the University of Ulster in 2012 with a degree in Public Relations, before going on to pursue a career in Marketing. Now established as a senior manager in the engineering industry, she has broad experience with a range of functions including Health and Safety, HR, Business Development, and Compliance, and has won many awards for her business initiatives.

Harbouring a lifelong passion for reading and writing, Rachel specialises in news, features, content creation and copywriting, covering a wide variety of topics and has been published in The Sunday Life, Chatterbox, The Belfast Telegraph, City, BAM and various other titles across Northern Ireland, as well as having her work included in short story anthologies.

In addition to writing for Excalibur Press, Rachel runs a book blog titled Confessions of a Book Geek, where she reviews books, writes topical features, and interviews authors, and runs her own business helping small-to-medium sized organisations across Northern Ireland with digital marketing, content creation, and marketing strategy.
