Melanie Fitzpatrick has been a trainer since 2002 providing business training and mentoring support for both individuals, groups, and established businesses. She has a wide range of experience in different market sectors and is fully qualified for the delivery of training on DEL funded courses and programmes.

Founder of Gusto Business Consultancy her business name: “Gusto” came from a client during a company rebranding session. This client believed it best described the way she delivered her training sessions: with enjoyment and enthusiasm.

As company Director at Gusto Business Consultancy, Melanie has been providing Project Management services across a range of business support programmes as well as a number of construction projects.

Since 2002, Melanie has supported over 2,000 individuals via training and mentoring, and has written over 1,500 business plans. She has developed a number of unique training programmes (all of which are currently active) that can be used to support start-up businesses – Business Basics, Let’s Start a Business, and Like a Boss.

Melanie also works with established businesses. She focuses on: development of franchise documentation; marketing strategy; business planning for growth; accessing investors; and financial planning.

Melanie is best known for her ability to meet targets and exceed quality requirements. She has a 100% pass rate for all students completing her courses, and her students work has been used for Exemplar material by the CCEA examining board.

As a Voluntary Director for Assistance Dogs NI (www.adni.org.uk), Melanie’s biggest WOW moment happened in July 2018, when the organisation was awarded the ‘Queens Award for Voluntary Service’. Melanie is hugely proud to be part of this amazing organisation!
