For the past 20 years, Lyle English hasÂ fulfilled the role of a credible and highly experienced Associate Trainer and Coach for a number of local and international training providers. His main area of work is in Leadership Skills Development working across a range of sectors with first-time Team Leaders through to Middle Managers [managers of managers]. Lyle has been privileged to work both locally and globally.
What makes Lyle different in this role is that he has â€˜been there, done that and got the t-shirtâ€™ and so is able to teach from the heart and not just the head.
Secondly, Lyle has a passion for working with SME managers as a Leadership Coach and Mentor, helping them to bring leadership to life within their companies. He partners with them in a series of thought-provoking and creative conversations to help them overcome their daily leadership challenges and achieve their leadership goals.
Theyâ€™re then able to inspire their people by communicating a compelling vision of the future in such a way that every staff member will want to be fully engaged. They will see how what they do has a direct impact on the success of the company and be motivated by whatâ€™s in it for them, personally.
Managers will know how to get the best out of their people and build a personal credibility that will promote trust, open communication and a spirit of team.

Finally, Lyle is passionate [some would say pedantic] about customer service. So as a â€˜fun side-lineâ€™ he also carries out mystery shopping in shops, restaurants, hotels and B&Bs. Some establishments have discovered the simple magic. Others….?
A family man and doting grandfather with two adorable grandchildren Lyle enjoys jazz and loves hill walking in a group of four. He likes nothing more though than to spend a Saturday in the kitchen preparing to host the ultimate dinner party.
